"I am Tired" ...

When someone (by this I mean a woman) asks you "How do I look?" "Do I look tired" , take time and really look at her before answering. 

Because the chances are, she truly is tired, maybe she don't look physicaly but mentally, she may be beyond tired. There's a word for it, "Drawn". 

Lately, I have been very tired and sometimes lifeless. I've lost appetite even. I find it puzzling. I didn't  realised that I am suffering from this "drawn" feelings until my husband pointed out. 

He sure was right!!! ... 🙄🤐

How do I make myself happy again? 

-do things that makes me happy. Like?

-go vacation. 

The trip itself tires me sometimes. 

-pray.

First Week 2020

Umrah 2020

Today 5th January, 2020 at 23:30hrs my baby sister will be flying to Saudi Arabia to perform her Umrah. 

In Islam, an Umrah is: 

"the non-mandatory lesser pilgrimage made by Muslims to Mecca, which may be performed at any time of the year." (Google 😁) 

Me (?!!) 

No. I haven't performed it. 

Everyone, I mean everyone in my family ie my mother, my father, all of my 3 sisters have performed umrah once or twice as to-date. I suck.. 

When I first heard that my sister is going, I was jealous. Honestly, I truly was. Because now, only I am the only one who hasn't done umrah, and it sucks!! This proofs that my family can't afford anything. Can't afford living luxuriously as my other sisters. And that fact truly sucks!! for me.. 

But, after weeks of self reflection and contemplation, Allah has given her a path to better herself and I am truly happy for her. Syukur even. Allah has shown her the right path and she took it. Alhamdulillah. Truly. 

Now, I pray that Allah show me and my family the right path to a more righteous life. Insyallah.
